Disconnecting a social account

The Marvelist app provides you with the option of connecting your Apple, Microsoft, or Google account to your Marvelist account as a means of logging in. Currently however, you cannot disconnect those accounts.

We do not allow you to disconnect social accounts from your Marvelist account to help prevent you from getting locked out. There must always be at least one social account connected to your Marvelist account at all times.

If you do need to disconnect a social account, you can reach out to us at help@marvelist.co.uk and we'll be more than happy to help. We will be unable to disconnect a social account if it means your Marvelist account would be left in an "orphaned" state with no connected social accounts. Therefore, it is advisable to ensure you have more than one social account always connected in case you lose access to one of your social accounts or you need us to remove a social account connection.

Note: by connecting a social account to your Marvelist account, you are not giving Marvelist access to that account. The social account is used purely for authenticating you and logging you into your Marvelist account.
