Archived Lists

Archived Lists are designed as a means of "tidying" your lists and moving them into long-term storage. When a list becomes archived, there are several changes that occur:
  • The list is moved from your primary lists view, to the archived lists view.
  • Archived lists are made "online-only". Meaning you need an internet connection to access them.
    • As opposed to lists that aren't archived, which are downloaded to your device and available offline.
  • Shared access becomes disabled. Anybody that has access to your list will lose visibility of the list once it is archived.
    • Shared access isn't actually removed. But the list is hidden from shared users. If you un-archive the list, shared access is restored and those it was originally shared with will be able to see/access the list.
  • Location notifications are removed.
    • An archived list does not generate location notifications. Therefore, if a location happens to be assigned to a list, it will be removed.

Lists can be un-archived at any time from the list options menu.

If any restrictions to archived lists are introduced in the future, they will be detailed here.
