I'm receiving a token request error...

If you are receiving an error message similar to the above when you first add the "Tophhie Cloud Greetings" web part to one of your SharePoint sites, this is usually an indicator that your SharePoint Online tenant has enhanced security protections in place, preventing the web part from accessing some Microsoft Graph resources it needs to function.

Thankfully, this is quite an easy fix, but you may require help from your IT/SharePoint administrator. If you are not that person, forward this help article onto them.

Steps to resolve

1. Head to your SharePoint Admin Center.

2. In the left hand sidebar go to "Advanced", then "API access".

3. On this page, you should have some "Pending Requests" for Microsoft Graph.

4. Approve these requests.

It may take a short while for your Microsoft environment to catch up and recognise the approvals, but after a short while, you should notice the web part now operates properly.
